Registration

Check Your Registration Status
Enter the term for which you wish to register and click "submit".
The next page you will see is the "Registration Status" page. Here you can view information that may be important to your registration.
  • Time Slot for Registration - All students are given specific windows of time in which they can register. If you attempt to register for classes outside of this window, you will be blocked from accessing the registration screen.


  • Holds - If you have a "hold," it must be cleared BEFORE you will be allowed to register. Financial Holds are cleared by the Business Office. Library Holds are cleared by the Library. Other holds such as Admission Holds and Orientation Holds are cleared by the Admissions Office.


  • Academic Standing - If your GPA is below a 2.0, you are not permitted to register without the approval of an academic advisor.


The remaining information pertains to your personal records at LSCC. If you see information that needs to be changed, click on "Records Change Form" at the bottom of the screen. This will enable you to print a copy of the Records Change form for completion and submission to the Admissions Office.


Return to the registration menu by using the "Back" arrow at the top of your browser.
Register for Classes
If, during this LOIS session, you have not previously accessed specific information for a term (like your registration status), you will be prompted to select a term.

If you have already viewed information for a term that you are eligible to register for, you will go directly to the "Add or Drop Classes" screen.

Students who are not permitted to register due to a time slot violation, a hold, or an academic standing issue will receive a message to that effect. You must take care of these issues before being permitted to access the registration screen.


For initial registration:
Click on "class search" if you want to search for courses via LOIS


OR


Enter the course reference numbers (section numbers) of the classes you wish to register for in the "Add Class" section.


Click "Submit Changes."


If you have already registered and want to drop a class:
Click on the options table to the far left of the designated course.


Click on "dropped via the web."


Click "submit changes."

If you have already registered and want to add a class:
Click on "class search" if you want to search for courses via LOIS


OR


Enter the course reference numbers (section numbers) of the classes you wish to register for in the "Add Class" section.


Click "Submit Changes."


You will know you are officially registered by the message in the "status" field of the current schedule section that states, "Web registered" and gives the date.
